I don't want the last European match at Upton Park to end like this,
Take a full strength team to Rumania and take the cunts out.
We can knocked out later by someone like B Dortmund.

Good post. Well laid out.
That proves why the 'we're not ready for this' theory is a load of tosh.

No I haven't forgot those, but they were against Man U, a team with the biggest budget in football, and premier league opposition. I completely agree with the fact last season was frustrating and not pretty, Allardyce did need to go.
I just feel we would not of thrown the lead away if he was here. Last night that is, against 2 bob Romanians.

Where has he actually say this? I agree that it's a shit competition in its current format but so is the Prem. £10 tickets v European clubs or £87 to watch us v the same old in a monotonous league. I know which I prefer, from a purely selfish fan's perspective of course.

We need a right back, midfielder(Song), attacking midfielder/winger and a striker.
That is four players mr Gold and Bilic, not one or two

Egg
Liverpool, Spurs, Napoli etc go straight into the group. The next round consists of the winners of this round plus 15 losers of the champions league qualification round that was played the other night.

there's also another big group including the likes of Liverpool and Spurs that drop in at next round Rossal
We may make it but I think when we looked we are likely to be right on the line for seeding either way again

Can we make another 24 hour change because I thought Hendrie was out for Lanzini at this point.?
Sakho wont play will he?
Arsenal will be something like
Adrian
JOB Tomkins Ogbonna Cresswell
Kouyate Noble Oxford/(maybe Almalfitano, they have played okay together in the centre before)
Payet
Sakho, Zarate
Though that is a pretty offensive lineup away to Arsenal. Maybe Jarvis for Zarate because he does work harder defensively but is a down grade from what Zarate has shown offensively lately.
So that leaves
Adrian (keeper should be okay)
Jenkinson Burke Henry Hendrie
Poyet Nolan Almafitano/Jarvis
Lanzini Samuelsen
Maiga

Eggy
Just looked into it and it appears that if results go as you'd expect then virtually all the teams dropping from champions league qualification will have a higher ranking then us. Some of them i would still take over two legs....but it obviously poses higher risk of a tough side then if we were unseeded.

I wish this site would move on from Allardyce. It seems like his name is thrown into every footballing thread. It's fast becoming Niceyonline.net on here.

Hammers1993 11:57 I can't believe your statement about Allardyce. You seem to have forgotten the games where we lost leads and conceded late goals in the last few months of his thankfully not renewed contract.

Fair enough, i think we have a high co-efficient for the teams left (same as Soton) so should be ok but depends who drops down from the champions league games to i guess

O'Brien, Burke, Henry, Hendrie, Amalfitano, Poyet, Oxford, Nolan, Jarvis & Sakho should be good enough to get a result against a bang average team from Romania.
Whether they will or not is another matte of course.
Would rather see the first XI sent out on Sunday.

Rossal 11:34 Fri Jul 31 Re: Bilic: "The majority of players who play against Astra next week will not start against Arsenal I get that Eggy, the liklihood is that we will be seeded
No it's at best 50/50 on seeding like last time when we missed it and lost to Palermo

This may sound silly but what worries me most is the fact Bilic has practically confirmed Randolph will be in goal for the 2nd leg.
Adrian had work to do last night and made some crucial punches and some quite tidy saves.
Randolph will need to be as good as that especially as it will be at their home ground with our "2nd defence" in front of him, and honestly, I am worried, he is worse than Jussi in my opinion, and Jussi got cunted left right and centre when he was here.
I hope Bilic at least sends Adrian out there as I doubt a goalkeeper will be fatigued with 3 days rest?!
The reason we lost last night wasn't just because of the red card, from 65th minute onwards I would say, majority of our players were knackered, and they had much more energy and it told. Plus the fact he brought dogshit Jarvis on when he should of brought Poyet on, partnered him with Oxford and put Kouyate at Centre Back.
Hate to say this as well and it's not to bring up a massive debate on it, but I highly doubt we would of thrown the lead away under Allardyce. Can't believe I just said that, but it's true.
Honestly worried that we will go out of Europa next Thursday if Bilic is telling the truth and we send our B team there.

The hysteria on here of people calling other West Ham supporters hysterical, knicker wetting, cry babies, embarrasing, spineless and other derogatory remarks is outstanding.
If your a supporter you want to win every game, I don't care what competition it is. People are dissappointed with last night outcome and rightly so!
Put that in your hysterical pipes and smoke it.
